I’m a little late, but Happy Easter!
We spent Easter weekend up in Minnesota with my parents, one of my uncles and one of my brothers that came in from Vermont as a surprise (Grandma is a sneaky planner)!
We got up to the Land of the Lakes Friday afternoon and came back Sunday evening. It was great, but time goes by too fast.
This was Charlotte’s first Easter and she had a blast. She did great during Church and loves watching people, and taking her shoes off. We went to brunch afterwards and tried a few new items including ham, pineapple, cantaloupe and oranges. She loved it all, especially the ham and oranges. We just gave her half a slice of orange and let her go to town on it. And she couldn’t eat the ham fast enough! She also got to drink water from daddy’s glass since we didn’t bring a sippy cup with us.
Of course she is a bit spoiled (how can you not spoil your child!) and got two Easter baskets – one from mom and dad and one from Grandma and Grandpa. Her favorite items? Easter grass in a bag and the plastic eggs.
We had a great weekend and can’t wait to see everyone again soon! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend.
